JON ANDERSON Interview, Miami, November 2013

This is the most beautiful interview I've ever made to a musician. Rock legend JON ANDERSON, co-founder of Classic progressive British Rock band YES, this year nominated to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He stopped in Miami for a couple of dates last month of November 2013.
Anderson talks about the possible induction to the RRHF.
His work with not just with rock & Roll but with World music. His remembrance of the album DESEO with Latin artists (Ruben Rada, Milton Nascimento, Maria Conchita Alonso, Glenn Monroig and more), an approach to music from this side of the world (South America).
He also talks about Baka Music, Water Drumming, Spirituality, The Beatles, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, British Rock Invasion, Buffalo Springfield, King Crimson, Irish Music, Carlos Castaneda, Vangelis, The Friends of Mr. Cairo, Quincy Jones, State of Independence, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, his wife, his kids.
He answers to the question "Is everything in Rock already invented?"
His take on electronic music, EDM and current music.
We touched the YES affairs, topic, (internal relationship, Rick Wakeman)
How he lives his Spirituality.
Being 70 years old and going strong, creative, active in music.
Anecdote: The relationship between Fiends of Mr. Cairo and Billie Jean.
He will present his music with the Colombian Symphonic Orchestra in 2014. Bogotá
This man is connected to something higher, deeper within his soul, it's not just his angelical voice, he has understood and envisioned something that he translates into music, but, as he says, we all have and share the same light inside. God Blees You Mr. Anderson #Miami #jonanderson #yestheband. I am a Colombian music journalist based in Miami who grew up listening to Classic Rock & Roll, I wrote a book called “El Quijote de La Música”, soon to be translated into English. If you are a YES or Jon Anderson fan, you will enjoy this intimate and relaxed conversation. Follow me on Twitter @kikeposada Camera: Antonio Belchi, Interviewer & Editor: Kike Posada
